The Strike Industries GRIDLOK? LITE Rail for AR-15 takes innovation from GRIDLOK? but this is a 1-piece design to minimize weight and offer a cost-effective option. Using the same Patent Pending Quick Rail Detach system, only one of very few handguards on the market today that can be removed at home or in the field quickly without tools. With the Quick Rail detach system, a simple push and pull of the of the quick detach (QD) latch, you have the handguard off in seconds to make any adjustments to an adjustable gas block or installation/removal of a suppressor. The QD latch has also been redesigned with a new locking button for earlier latch locking. Integrated into the front of the GRIDLOK? LITE is the built-in flip up backup iron sight (BUIS). Compatible with the M-LOK system at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock locations. In the rear of the handguard you will find a integrated 360° free swivel QD socket for a 2-point setup. Rear tabs with set screws at the top the SI GRIDLOK? LITE help center the top rail to the upper receiver to ensure proper alignment. The cut in front was designed to help fit suppressors up to 1.57'' (39.9mm) in diameter and of course all SI muzzle devises including the SI OPPRESSOR for those looking for that tucked look. The handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and the barrel nut is machined from 7000 series aluminum which excels in applications that require lightweight and high strength. NOTE: The two locking screw at base can only be easily adjusted when the base is not mounted on barrel nut. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to adjust the locking tightness when you mount it on barrel nut. Installation video available.

Torque: 30-50 ft/lbs (47.45-67.79 nM) for the barrel nut
